Cascade Mountain Ski Patrol

The Cascade Mountain Ski Patrol did rather well at the Region Banquet to say the least. You can all give yourselves a pat on the back for being chosen as the Outstanding Large Patrol in the South Central Region.

 Next time you see Keith Rosenbaum make sure you shake his hand for being picked as the Region's Outstanding Instructor! He is one of our hardest working patrollers and was well deserving of this honor.

When you bump into Mary Woodman give her a big hug for being selected as the South Central Region's Outstanding Patroller! I think everyone who has patrolled with Mary will agree that no one could deserve this award more.

In other news make sure that you congratulate Kevin White for receiving his National Appointment! All in all it was a huge night for our patrol and we should all be proud of our accomplishments.

Special thanks go out to JoAnn Stormer and Gary Jugenheimer for writing up the applications for our awards. Theh obviously did an excellent job. It was no cake walk there was plenty of competiton!

Also a big thanks goes out to our Region Director Thom Rabaglia and our Region Awards Advisor Neil Olson for putting on a great awards banquet! This is my last official email as you Patrol Rep as I now toss the keys to Joe Riley who is our new patrol Rep. I know he will do an outstanding job. Thank you all for your support these past two years and please continue to that support with Joe.

On February 19th at Cascade we are holding the first Regional Women's Clinic.  This is a chance for women to improve their ski and toboggan skills, while sharing ideas and fun times. Do you know of any women on your patrol who might be interested in attending?  The nominal fee of $20 includes PSIA instruction and a warm lunch.  We will be accepting applications thru the end of January.  Just have interested parties fill out the form in the last issue of the SWEEP and mail to me along with the $20 fee.  If they do not have the application, they can just call or email me. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! Patricia CampAssistant Region Director262.691.8163nspit99@aol.com
